Thus, President Jokowi looks very happy that this project was built in West Papua. Because, this project absorbs a lot of labor, currently 70 percent of the resilient operational personnel are workers from West Papua and Papua Provinces.

"I heard there is a new target in 2029 to reach 85 percent (Indonesian labor). This is very good. 105 LNG plant operation and maintenance technicians are sons and daughters of West Papua and Indonesia who have been recruited since high school undergoing an education program from BP Berau Ltd," President Widodo expressed.
