PUPR Ministry Spends IDR 35,45 Trillion for IKN Nusantara Development

Kalimantan – Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono said the budget for IKN Nusantara development in 2024 reached IDR 35.45 trillion.
"In 2024, basic infrastructure support for the IKN Nusantara is allocated IDR 35.45 trillion," Hadimuljono said in a working meeting with Commission V of the House of Representatives, Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Monday.
The PUPR Minister said of the total budget, as much as IDR 16.67 trillion for the Directorate General of Highways which will be used to build roads and airports.
"For the construction of Western and Eastern National Axis Roads, Feeder District Roads in IKN, Toll Road Sections 3A, 3B, 5B, 6A, 6B, and 6C Section 1 and Airport (VVIP) on the runway side," Minister Hadimuljono explained.
Then, other funds were allocated to the Directorate General of Human Settlements worth IDR 11.44 trillion for the arrangement of the national axis phase II, the axis of three countries, and the construction of the KIPP fire protection system phase I, drinking water treatment plants and supporting buildings for drinking water supply systems and piping networks.
Moreover, it is also used for the construction of buildings in the IKN presidential palace area, coordinating ministry offices, and government infrastructure facilities II.
Funds are also disbursed for the Directorate General (DG) of Human Settlements (IDR 5.76 trillion) and the Directorate General of Water Resources (IDR 1.58 trillion), the MInister informed.
The Directorate General of Human Settlements will continue the construction of landed houses for ministerial positions and the construction of 47 units of flats for State Civil Servants and National Army-Indonesian Police flats.
"The Directorate General of Water Resources is used to continue flood control in the Sanggai 1A watershed, improvement and arrangement of the Sepaku Semoi dam area and construction of the KIPP Embung," Minister Hadimuljono concluded.
