Indonesians Have High Enthusiasm for Helping Palestine, Jokowi Says

Jakarta – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said that the enthusiasm of the Indonesian people to assist Palestine is very high. Currently, the government is preparing for the next assistance delivery.
"The enthusiasm of the people, the enthusiasm of community organizations to assist Palestine is very, very high," the President stated on Thursday.
Therefore, the Head of State remarked that the government must properly prepare the technical delivery of aid provided by the Indonesian people to the Palestinian people.

"This is just being prepared. We are preparing the plane, we are preparing the team, we are preparing it well,"
The President believes that the Indonesian people will not stop at the first and second aid that will be given to Palestine.
"Maybe there will be a second, third, fourth, fifth aid. I will continue to invite the public to help our brothers and sisters in Palestine, in Gaza," President Jokowi emphasized.
Earlier, President Jokowi was scheduled to attend the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, November 12, 2023.
According to the President, one of the issues to be discussed is Gaza. "This OIC Summit specifically talks about Gaza,"

The Head of State has not been able to convey in detail the points that will be discussed at the OIC Summit, "I don't know yet (what will be discussed), but this (OIC Summit) is specifically for Gaza,"
After the meeting, the President will visit President Joe Biden at the White House in, the United States.
During the meeting, Jokowi will convey the results of the OIC Summit to President Joe Biden to stop the war between Hamas and Israel.
"After the OIC Summit, I will meet President Joe Biden to convey the results. I want the Hamas-Israel war to stop," President Jokowi concluded.
