Dayak and Sundanese Cultural Events will Enliven Bali

Legian, November 3, 2023 – The Stones Hotel Bali will celebrate its 11th anniversary with an event titled "A Journey Through The Sights and Sounds of The Stones" on November 29, 2023.
The event will feature a photography exhibition by Daniel Kordan, a Dayak tribe dance performance, and a performance by Saung Angklung Udjo (SAU).
"The beauty of Indonesian nature is the main focus of our celebration," said Andika Pratama, Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications of The Stones Hotel Bali.
"We are proud to present 'Indonesia Unveiled: Daniel Kordan Photography Exhibition', a visual journey that will take you to the stunning landscapes and diverse ecosystems of Indonesia."
Daniel Kordan is a renowned landscape photographer who calls Bali home. He has captured the beauty of Indonesian nature through his stunning photographs. The exclusive exhibition of his work will be on display at The Stones Hotel for a month.
In addition to the photography exhibition, the event will also feature a Dayak tribe dance performance. The dance will be performed by Poyang and his friends from Banjarmasin, Kalimantan. Poyang and his friends are also one of the subjects of Daniel Kordan's photographs that will be on display at the event.
The event will also be enlivened by a performance by Saung Angklung Udjo (SAU). SAU is an art institution founded in 1966 to preserve Sundanese culture and traditional angklung music.
"We want to bring a unique and memorable experience to our guests," said Andika Pratama. "This event will be an opportunity for guests to learn more about the beauty of Indonesian nature and culture."
