Reason Why Many Children, Women Become Victims of Israeli Attacks

Gaza – The Palestinian death toll from the ongoing Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip since October 7 has risen to 7,703. This was announced by the Health Ministry in Gaza on Saturday.
Of these, around 66 percent are women and children. Palestinian envoy to the United Nations Riyad Mansour said that the number of children killed in Israeli attacks has reached 3,000.
"I repeat, 3,595 children, innocent children, little angels were killed in Gaza over the past three weeks," Mansour said.
In addition, it was also stated that there were around 19,734 people injured since the beginning of the attack.
The Palestinian Health Ministry also stated that Israel had committed 53 massacres in its recent ruthless bombardment of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army on Friday expanded its air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip. They have been conducting relentless airstrikes on the Gaza Strip called the Sea of Fire since Hamas' surprise attack on October 7, 2023.
International aid agencies say they have lost contact with staff in Gaza after Israel shut down internet access and communications.
Gaza's 2.3 million residents are grappling with shortages of food, water, and medicine due to Israel's massive aerial bombardment and total blockade of the enclave.
The United Nations General Assembly called for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire, with 120 countries voting for the resolution put forward by Jordan.
However, Israel rejected it. Meanwhile, the death toll in Israel reached thousands.
Meanwhile, the population in Palestine in October 2023 reached 5.3 million. As information, the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip reached 2.2 million.
Almost half of the population in Gaza, or 47 percent, are under 18 years old.
The ongoing conflict in Palestine has caused many of its citizens to die at a young age. They can die from attacks or even become one of the victims due to the poor health system there.
