Bakrie and Brothers Records IDR 3 Trillion Net Profit in Q3 of 2023

Jakarta – Bakrie & Brothers (BNBR) has reached a net profit of IDR 3,079 Trillion in the third quarter of 2023. This achievement increased 31.77 percent from the previous year.
"BNBR also recorded an operating profit of IDR 228.33 billion," said BNBR President Director & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Anindya Novyan Bakrie in a statement, on Friday.
Anindya Bakrie ensured the value grew by IDR140.14 billion or 158.92 percent year-on-year (yoy), from operating profit in the same period in the previous year which amounted to IDR 88.18 billion.
The overall net revenue was contributed by three key subsidiaries, namely Bakrie Metal Industries (IDR 1.85 trillion), VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas (IDR 890.99 billion), and Bakrie Indo Infrastructure (IDR 328.27 billion).
"This positive revenue performance is the result of several strategic projects that have been carried out by BNBR's business units," Anindya Bakrie remarked.
He also expressed: "We are grateful that the company's policy measures in developing new businesses have resulted in positive performance. We are confident and optimistic that the important projects we are developing will have an even more encouraging impact,"
Therefore, Bakrie emphasized to close the third quarter of 2023, Bakrie & Brothers will continue to accelerate the development of strategic projects. Such as in the transportation electrification sector developed by VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas (VKTR).
In addition, Bakrie & Brothers is also accelerating the expansion of projects in the new and renewable energy sector, such as the construction of rooftop solar power plant (PLTS) and other environmentally friendly energy projects.
"The manufacturing sector is still the main contributor. In second place is the automotive sector, including revenue from the sale of electric buses," Bakrie concluded.
