Indonesia Prepares 430 Electric Vehicles for AIS Forum Summit in Bali

Bali – The Indonesian government is preparing 430 electric vehicles for the Summit of the Forum of Island States (AIS) mobility on October 10-11, 2023 in Nusa Dua, Badung, Bali.

The electric vehicles consist of four brands, namely BMW type i7 as many as 28 units and Hyundai as many as 236 units (type Ioniq 6 as many as 38 units and Ioniq 5 as many as 198 units). 

Then Toyota type bZ4X as many as 66 units and Wuling Air EV as many as 100 units.

BMW i7 will be used as a Very Very Important Person (VVIP) vehicle to serve the guests of the Head of State.

Hyundai Ioniq 6 is prepared as a Very Important Person (VIP) vehicle for ministers and lower levels. 

Delegates accompanying the Head of State or Minister are prepared with Toyota bZ4X vehicles.

The Head of the Vehicle Section of the General Bureau of the Ministry of State Secretariat, Masduki explained that the committee prepared 430 electric cars prepared during the Archipelagic and Island States (AIS) Forum Summit in Nusa Dua, Bali.

In addition to electric vehicles for VVIP and VIP, the government also prepared 3 units of Wuling Air EV cars for each country's operations, Masduki continued. 

In addition, a free shuttle bus was also prepared for journalists.

"The provision of shuttle buses aims to facilitate the mobility of journalists in covering the AIS Forum Summit activities to and from the Media Center," Masduki informed.
