First Time in Indonesia, Bali to Host WOO APAC Forum 2023

Bali – One of the Indonesian Islands, Bali will host the World Out-of-Home Organization (WOO) APAC Forum 2023 which will take place on November 1-3.

WOO expects this forum to be a gathering place for more than 200 delegates involved in the OOH (Out-of-Home Industry) ecosystem, from government, media, advertising and creative agencies, advertisers, associations, and others from Asia Pacific and internationally. 

In this international forum, OOH industry players from all over the world have the opportunity to interact directly, exchange the latest information, share insights and best experiences in the development of the OOH industry, discuss important issues in the industry, and build business networks as an effort to improve the quality of OOH media.

WOO President Tom Goddard stated that the media industry is one of the industries that has an important role in conveying messages to the public.

As one of the oldest media in the world and still developing in today's digital era, OOH has an important role in the advertising industry around the world including Indonesia so it deserves attention from all parties.

"WOO APAC Forum 2023 is a strategic forum for OOH industry players in facing various positive dynamics that occur. Therefore, WOO encourages increased collaboration among industry players to develop and advance this industry," Goddard said in his statement on Saturday. 

Several global speakers have confirmed their attendance at this forum to discuss various important and interesting issues surrounding the OOH industry such as cross-channel measurement which is a big issue for all advertisers and is a very important element for OOH growth keys amid the increasing trend of omnichannel usage.

The talk will be conveyed by Chloe Neo as CEO of Omnicom Media Group Singapore, a global media, marketing, and communications network company headquartered in the United States

Another interesting topic will be presented by Jay Young, Chief Client Office of Grand Visual, a global creative agency on how the collaboration of creativity and technology in Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) can provide answers to advertisers' needs to attract attention and increase audience engagement aimed at increasing market share (market expansion). 

Meanwhile, the Marketing Director of Alternative Media Group (AMG) as well as the Organizing Committee, Agung Prihambodo stated that the international OOH industry event which was held for the first time in Indonesia proved that OOH media in Indonesia has a significant role in the advertising industry and should be the concern of all parties. 

"This activity is a new thing for the OOH industry in Indonesia. So, we invite all stakeholders involved in the OOH ecosystem in Indonesia to support and participate in this event," he remarked.
