The 2023 Mandalika MotoGP Targets Revenue of IDR 4.5 Trillion

Lombok – Indonesian government through the Tourism and Creative Economy ministry targets the 2023 Mandalika MotoGP event to generate revenue of IDR 4.5 trillion and can increase the tourism sector's contribution to the national economy.
"With a target economic added value of more than IDR4.5 trillion, we believe that the 2023 Mandalika MotoGP can boost the contribution of the tourism sector to the national economy," said Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Angela Tanoesoedibjo at the InJourney office, Thamrin area, Jakarta, on Tuesday.
Not only that, the Ministry of Tourism is also targeting domestic tourist visits to reach 8.5 million people and foreign tourists as many as 1.4 billion movements.
"This year we have a target of 8.5 million foreign tourists and 1.4 billion foreign tourist movements," Tanoesoedibjo informed.
Tanoesoedibjo also hopes that the 2023 Mandalika MotoGP will not only help promote Indonesian tourism in general. But specifically, it can have an economic impact on the economy of residents around the area.
"The Ministry of Tourism also seeks to support the entire event ecosystem, especially in priority tourist destinations, through cooperation built with various parties to facilitate the licensing aspects of these events," Tanoesoedibjo explained.
She also expressed: "We hope that events like this not only promote Lombok tourism, but also provide direct economic benefits to the community, MSMEs, and the tourism and creative economy sectors."
As information, the 2023 Mandalika MotoGP event will take place on October 13-15, 2023 at the Mandalika International Circuit, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.
Mandalika MotoGP ticket prices ranging from IDR 200 thousand to IDR 20 million. The categories start from General Admission, Regular Grandstand, Premium Grandstand, Premiere Class, and Deluxe Class.
