Pekalongan – Technological advancements have reshaped the global business landscape, and Indonesia is no exception. In order to maintain competitiveness, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) need to transition into the digital realm.

This is what prompted SiCepat Express and Olahkarsa to collaborate on organizing the Sanubari Workshop 101 with the theme "Understanding How to Create Content, Photos, and Promotional Videos for Maximum Profit!" in Pekalongan Regency, Central Java.

This event serves as a platform for over fifty MSME entrepreneurs from three different communities: Sukses Berkah Community (SBC), Kreator Mahar, and Parsel Pekalongan (KOMPAK), as well as the Institute of Home Industries Creative (IHOMIC). The workshop represents a tangible effort to support MSMEs in competing in the digital age.

According to Rangga Andriana, Manager of Corporate Communication at SiCepat Express, this initiative is part of SiCepat's ongoing commitment to support the government of Indonesia's mission of "Go Digital" for MSMEs.

"According to data from the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, the total number of MSMEs in Indonesia has reached 65.46 million. The MSME sector also contributes to 60.3% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and employs 97% of the workforce in Indonesia. However, out of this data, only 21 million MSMEs have migrated to the digital realm, leaving 44 million that still need to make the transition, which is a challenge for both the government and the private sector."

Dra. Siti Masruroh, Head of the Cooperatives, SMEs, and Labor Office of Pekalongan Regency, appreciates this collaboration.

"We appreciate SiCepat's concern, as this training will enable our MSME colleagues here to learn, develop themselves, and be competitive in the era of technology disruption 5.0," she said.

In addition to the training, SiCepat Express is also providing ongoing support by donating six units of portable photo studio equipment to the three MSME communities participating in the Sanubari workshop.

This assistance is a tangible expression of SiCepat's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program that contributes to the skill development of MSMEs.

Program Ini Berikan Dampak Lebih Luas

Similar activities were successfully conducted in Indramayu last July, with over fifty participants from four MSME communities.

The future of the Sanubari MSME program is to continue expanding and supporting more MSME communities across Indonesia.
