Alva Factory Applies Robotic System in Electric Motor Assembly

Cikarang – Alva shows its production factory facilities that apply high-tech industry 4.0 with the use of robotic systems at the electric motor assembly stage.
This allows the capacity of this factory to produce up to one hundred thousand products per year and can maximize the effectiveness of the order process to product delivery to consumers.
President Director, Purbaja Pantja said that since its inception in 2022, Alva has made a breakthrough that is different from existing motorcycle companies, because this brand is a Lifestyle Mobility Solution company.
"The Alva Manufacturing Facility is proof of our seriousness in advancing the Indonesian automotive industry, especially two-wheeled electric vehicles," Pantja said at the Alva Factory, Cikarang, West Java, on Wednesday.
On the same occasion, Rahmat Septriawan the Chief Operating Officer said that with this state-of-the-art facility, one unit of motorcycle can be assembled in just three minutes.Â
"The assembly of one motorcycle takes approximately three minutes, this is also because it uses a robotic system and of course with human hands (the workers)," Septriawan stated.
The three-minute motorcycle assembly process applies to Alva One, and Alva Cervo products, he added.
As information, related to labor recruitment, Alva also took the initiative to open opportunities for Vocational High School graduates through cooperation with the Cikarang local government through the local workers recruitment to be trained and work as skilled workers at the Alva Manufacturing Facility.Â
The Alva electric motor factory has around 180 employees to operate the 17,690 square meter factory, with a building area of 12,436 square meters.
The Alva factory is divided into three sections: first, the production and assembly area often referred to as the assembly area. This section already uses automated guided vehicle (AGV) technology, some robots will carry components in the assembly area.
The second section is the logistics section and warehouse for spare parts that will become part of the Alva motorcycle.
The third section is the finishing room where the finished motorcycles for final quality control and at the final stage ready to be shipped to consumers.
