Jokowi Distributes Rice Aid for Three Consecutive Months to Society

Jakarta – The Indonesian President, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on Monday distributes rice food assistance to beneficiary families at the Bulog Warehouse, Sunter Timur II Warehousing Complex, Kelapa Gading, Jakarta.
"This rice assistance will be given to the society for three consecutive months, starting from September to November," the Head of State said to the beneficiaries.
President Jokowi also hopes that in January, the rice stock is still available, "God willing, in January it will still be available."
Meanwhile, several beneficiary families also expressed their gratitude for the rice assistance provided by the Government.
"Alhamdulillah, we feel blessed, we feel grateful for getting basic food assistance for daily meals," said Mrs. Muayati, one of the beneficiaries.
In addition to handing over the assistance, on that occasion, the President also reviewed the availability of government rice reserves (CBP) guided by the President Director of Perum Bulog Budi Waseso.
Also accompanying the President were the Minister of SOEs; Erick Thohir, Minister of Trade; Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of State Secretary; Pratikno, Deputy Minister of SOEs; Kartika Wirjoatmodjo, and Head of the Food Security Agency; Arief Prasetyo Adi.
