Qatar – Sheikh Jassim from Qatar has reportedly won the race to takeover at Manchester United ahead of Sir Jim Ratcliffe. And, after the Glazer family agreed to funds of around £ 6 billion or the equivalent of IDR 117 trillion.
At first, Sheikh Jassim's offer was rejected by the Glazer family to acquire Manchester United. But in the fifth offer, the ruler from the United States finally wanted to release Manchester United in full.
In addition, if the Glazer family does not accept Sheikh Jassim's offer, there will be a big protest from Manchester United supporters.
Because the Glazer family is not right in managing the club. They only think about profit compared to bringing achievements to Manchester United. This will end their 18-year reign.
Sheikh Jassim will buy Manchester United as a whole and will pay off the club's debt of 725 million pounds or the equivalent of IDR 14 trillion from the former leadership of the Glazer family.
The deal will not be finalized until the summer transfer window ends. So, Sheikh Jassim hasn't able to spend funds to buy new players. But he plans to renovate Manchester United's training ground.
Sheikh Jassim's team is preparing the documents to buy Manchester United and the deal will expire in October 2023. After that, Sheikh Jassim will be announced as the new owner of the club.
