BMW Indonesia, Bluebird Cooperate to Offer Premium EV Taxi Service

Jakarta – BMW Indonesia and Bluebird Group are starting to collaborate to offer premium taxi services at five-star hotels in Jakarta, such as The Westin. Where this collaboration was marked by the handover of three units of BMW iX electric cars as its taxi fleet.
Through the theme Joy is Electric, BMW, and Bluebird make this program for participating in support government in accelerating electric vehicle.
This program brings the driving experience with BMW premium electric vehicle to a wider audience through the services of Bluebird Group, a trusted limousine and transportation operator.
The President Director of BMW Group Indonesia, Ramesh Divyanathan said that this program demonstrates BMW's commitment to delivering sustainable future innovations and premium experiences. Moreover, it is more than just creating a vehicle to get from point A to B, but also about premium travel.
"The Joy is Electric theme is used as a campaign to support the automotive industry with electric vehicle technology. Joy is at the core of the BMW brand and is present in the driving experience, technology, design, and premium service," Divyanathan said in his speech at The Westin, Jakarta, on Tuesday.
On the same occasion, Jodie O'Tania as Director of Communications BMW Group Indonesia said, this collaboration aims to provide a driving experience with electric vehicles to a wider audience.
"For the first time, we are presenting this service at The Westin Jakarta Hotel. We want to provide experience to the public not only for the upper middle class but for all groups," Tania said.
Another reason for this collaboration is because Bluebird Group already has the Golden Bird service, "So for transportation issues, Bluebird already has very good experience in handling customers in that position."
Then, hotel customers can get this service with the aim of going to the airport, or even just around the Jakarta area.
Furthermore, Blue Bird President Director, Adrianto Djokosoetono said that the common vision between Bluebird and BMW in providing comfort in sustainable travel is a strong foundation for the collaboration of the two companies.
"Mobility and environmental sustainability are inseparable from Bluebird. We are proud to collaborate with BMW Indonesia to provide the best mobility experience that supports environmental sustainability," Djokosoetono stated.
Djokosoetono also said that for now people can also experience driving with extra comfort and environmentally friendly through E-Goldenbird services that can be felt by retail consumers.
"We realize that the best way to change people's mindset and habits that support environmental improvement is through good experiences," he added.
