Saudi Arabia – Al-Nassr officially announced that defender Alex Telles joins the club on Sunday. Telles will be a reunion with former United team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo, who signed for the Saudi Pro League side in January.
The Saudi Arabian club is known to buy Telles for around four million pounds or IDR 77 billion.
Telles, who joined Manchester United in 2020, has been out of the main squad since last season. He was even loaned out to Sevilla.
The Red Devils team sent Telles a farewell message and wished him new success at Al-Nassr.
"We'd like to thank Alex for his contribution to the club over the last three years and would like to wish him all the best for the future," as quoted from the official Manchester United website.
Counting two seasons defending Manchester United, Telles recorded 50 appearances. There was a contribution of one goal and eight assists from him for the Red Devils.
Telles' move was in the public spotlight. Because Al Nassr continues to bring in players from Europe and big teams.
Previously they brought in Marcelo Brozovic from Inter Milan. Then there is Seko Fofana who was bought from the Ligue 1 team, Lens.
As information, he already has 12 international caps and made two appearances at the 2022 World Cup, competing with England's Luke Shaw for the left-back spot at Old Trafford.
