Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung Toll Road Expected to Increase Economy Growth

Bengkulu – The Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on Thursday inaugurated the Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung toll road which stretches for 17.6 kilometers and costs trillions of rupiah.
"Alhamdulillah, the Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung toll road will operate, the total length of which has been completed 16.7 KM with a budget of IDR 4.8 trillion," President Widodo said as quoted from the Presidential Secretariat Youtube.
The President hopes that the inauguration of the Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung toll road can support logistics mobility and the mobility of people to create new economic growth points.
"We hope that the completion of this toll road will accelerate economic growth, accelerate the mobility of people and goods,"
That way, the Head of State said people in Bengkulu and its surroundings can prosper with the presence of this toll road for economic growth.
"We hope this can prosper the community because Bengkulu's competitiveness will increase," he explained.
Before the inauguration, President first visited Public Vocational High School 2 of Central Bengkulu Regency. After that, he was headed to Srikuncoro Health Center in the same regency to inspect the activities of the Joint Movement (Geber) Against Stunting (chronic nutritional problems due to long-term inadequate nutrient intake resulting in disruption of child growth).
