Jakarta – Many signs of doomsday are known by the general public, such as the sun rising from the west. Once circulated on Facebook saying the Sun will rise from the West.
In a Thai-language post that has gone viral on Facebook since January 14, 2021, NASA wrote that the Sun will rise from the West due to the opposite rotation of the Earth.
The photo and narrative upload about the Sun rising from the West on Facebook has been shared more than 15,000 times.
"NASA confirms the possibility of the sun rising from the west. The Earth is rotating in the opposite direction which causes the sun to rise from the west side!!!" wrote the text translated from the NASA website.

It was explained that some researchers believe that the Earth is currently moving in the opposite direction due to magnetic fields.
"Researchers believe that we are moving in the opposite direction of the magnetic field which will lead us to the end of humanity and closer to the apocalypse,"
NASA has spoken out about the claim that the sun rises from the west. The United States space agency said that it has never issued a prediction about the claim.
"Neither NASA nor any other scientific organization has ever predicted the sun will rise from the west," said Bettina Inclan as NASA Associate Administrator for Communications.
Inclan said the phenomenon of magnetic reversal is true and real, and several scientists have even studied it. This phenomenon is found on Earth's neighboring planet Venus, which rotates in a reverse direction.
While Venus rotates for a long time, 243 days, the planet's time around the Sun is around 225 days on Earth. This means that the Sun is visible on the surface of Venus only twice a year, or once in 117 days.
