Indonesian Users of Instagram and Facebook Can Buy Blue Ticks Now

Jakarta – The Meta Verified service is finally available in Indonesia. At first, Twitter Blue-like service was only tested in Australia and New Zealand.
Meta Verified is a service that allows Instagram and Facebook users to get blue ticks, as well as other benefits offered by the company, by paying a monthly subscription fee.
The presence of Meta Verified in Indonesia was announced by Meta Indonesia CEO Pieter Lydian through a post on his personal Instagram account @pieterlydian.

“I am happy to say that Meta Verified is now available and can be purchased directly via Instagram or Facebook in Indonesia,” Lydian wrote in the post, as quoted on Friday
Instagram and Facebook users can subscribe to Meta Verified for IDR 100,000 per month for web versions of Instagram and Facebook users. Then, the Meta Verified service for iOS and Android users is priced at a higher price, which is IDR 130,000 per month.
In the same post, Lydian explained the benefits that users get when subscribing to Meta Verified.
With Meta Verified, creators can get a verification badge, which confirms the authenticity of the account, and that the account has been authenticated with a government ID.
"More protection from impersonation with proactive account monitoring for impersonators who may be targeting people with a growing audience,"
Users can also get help when they need it with access to an actual person for common account issues. And there are exclusive features to express themselves in unique ways.
"Security is at the core of Meta Verified because we know that it is important to feel confident that the people you're interacting with are real people," Lydian remarked.
There are several conditions that users must fulfill to sign up for the Meta Verified service.
For using this, an account must be fulfill the minimum activity requirements, such as previous upload history, and registrants must be at least 18 years old.
Registrants are then required to include a government ID that matches the profile name and photo of the proposed Facebook or Instagram account.
