Malang – A car back door is one of the important components that must be considered when buying a car, starting from how spacious it is, how big the back door is, to how to open it.
The latest Hybrid car, Toyota Yaris Cross, provides four easy ways to open the back door, which aims to facilitate passengers in carrying several goods.
"Driver or passenger of the Yaris Cross can open the back door in four ways, namely through the keyless remote, the button on the back door, the button on the steering wheel, and the latest are the kick sensor," Dimas Aska as Head of Public Relations of Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) said during the sidelines of the Toyota Yaris Cross Surabaya-Malang test drive event, on Monday to Wednesday.
The kick sensor power back door feature can be done by sticking your foot to the bottom of the rear bumper of the car. This way, the activity of opening and closing the back door becomes more practical.
The system works by relying on a combination of two sensors mounted on the bumper and a motion sensor that detects movement in the area under the car's bumper.
The way it works is very simple, two sensors detect objects behind the vehicle, then the motion sensor detects movement at the bottom of the bumper.
To ensure that the system does not detect false movements or foreign objects, it is necessary to access the smart key within a distance of about 3 feet.
This certainly makes it easier for Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid customers to do daily activities such as shopping.
