3. Lifting One Leg

When dogs lift one paw during play or interaction, it indicates their level of alertness and caution. They may be trying to assess a situation or express a sense of alertness to something.

4. Tail Wagging

A dog's tail can give meaningful clues about their feelings. When the tail is raised and moving quickly, it indicates excitement and joy. On the other hand, if the tail is upright and not moving, it may indicate tension or discomfort.

5. Kissing and Licking

Dogs often use kisses and licks as a way to show affection and social retirement. They may kiss us as a sign that they love us and want to provide warmth.

6. Barking

The idea that dogs bark as a form of communication is well known. The basic idea is that dogs bark to alert us to presence or danger.

So, if your dog is barking in a low, fast voice, they may be trying to tell you that something needs your attention.

7. Biting Toys

When dogs excitedly bite toys or other objects, this is their way of releasing energy and fulfilling their cognitive and physical abilities. It can also be a sign that they are happy and content.

8. Body Wiggling

If a dog wiggles their entire body, it could indicate a feeling of great excitement. They may do this when they see us after a long separation or in response to a pleasant stimulus.

9. Digging

When dogs threaten to scratch the ground or other surfaces with their paws, this may indicate digging or searching behavior. They may be trying to find an odor, looking for a cozy bed, or just bringing out their natural ability to dig.

10. Showing Belly

If a dog lies down with its belly exposed, this is a sign of deep trust and security towards us.

Dogs feel comfortable and relaxed when they show us their belly. It can also be their way of inviting us to give them attention and pamper them.
