England – The coach of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola reportedly will not extend his contract, which expires in June 2025.
At 52 years old, Guardiola has decided on his future and will fulfill the remaining two seasons of his contract with Manchester City.
According to a source that Guardiola might consider a national team job, as he has previously been courted by Brazil and the United States.
In November, Guardiola signed a new deal with Manchester City after visiting Abu Dhabi during the World Cup break. Despite completing the treble, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss dismissed speculations that he might leave this summer and assured City fans in May that he would be in charge at the start of the next season.
"After successfully defeating Inter Milan in the top match, I'm tired and satisfied. The Champions League trophy is very difficult to win," Pep Guardiola said.
Furthermore, Guardiola denied rumors of leaving Manchester City at the end of this season and confirmed that he will honor the remaining two seasons of his contract.
