VIVA – Taman Safari Indonesia (TSI), the largest conservation organization in Indonesia won the Best Safari Park and Wildlife Conservation Achievement award from The Malaysian Association of Theme Parks and Family Attraction (MATFA) on Sunday.

An award is a form of appreciation for providing an exceptional safari experience for visitors by demonstrating exemplary efforts in wildlife conservation.

This is also strengthening the dedication of Taman Safari Indonesia to conserving biodiversity and educating the public on the importance of wildlife conservation.

Taman Safari Indonesia's Group VP Media, Event and Digital, Alexander Zulkarnain said that Taman Safari Indonesia has been recognized as a premier destination for animal lovers and families.

TSI offers an unusual opportunity for visitors to observe and interact with various species of animals in their natural habitat, ranging from elephants, tigers, and giraffes, to orangutans.

It also provides thrilling and educational experiences that encourage a deep understanding and appreciation of wildlife.

It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, who are committed to ensuring the highest standards in wildlife conservation and visitor experience," Zulkarnain said in a statement on Monday. 

He also said: "This recognition will further inspire us to continue our efforts in creating a sustainable future for wildlife," he added. 

Zulkarnain said that Taman Safari Indonesia's wildlife conservation initiatives include active involvement in breeding programs, habitat preservation, and public awareness campaigns.

TSI actively collaborates with local and international organizations to support research and conservation efforts that contribute to the protection of endangered species.

As information, the Malaysian Family Theme Parks and Attractions Association (MATFA) is a leading organization dedicated to promoting the development and growth of family theme parks and attractions in Malaysia and beyond.
