Saudi Arabia Creates NEOM's First Heaven Island Sindalah

VIVA – The government of Saudi Arabia creates the heaven island in 2024 as the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's plan in last 2017.
The island is called Sindalah, located in the Red Sea, and is planned to be a tantalizing view of the luxurious NEOM city, which cost US$500 billion or IDR 7.500 Trillion to build.
On Sindalah, guests will enjoy a world-class cruise destination, three mega luxury hotels, a golf course, various restaurants, and magnificence retail outlets. The island spans over 84 hectares and aims to attract 2,400 visitors per day by 2028.
"Sindalah will be a glamorous gateway to the Red Sea and a world-class super yacht destination, giving visitors a glimpse into the region. NEOM's vision is to build the land of the future, a completely new destination," Antoni Vives, NEOM's head of planning stated on Monday.
Vives stated that Sindalah will be the closest ultra-prime marina to Europe and the Mediterranean. The island offers new seasonal options for the global yachting calendar.
On the island, visitors can find three luxury hotels with more than 400 ultra-premium rooms and 300 upscale suites. These include three Marriott International properties
The island will also have 38 food and beverage outlets, including nine high-end restaurants, nine premium casual restaurants, on-board dining, and three rooftop lounges.
The construction of Sindalah and NEOM itself is a radical policy that changes the country's conservative image. This is done to realize Saudi Vision 2030 which is considered to free the country from dependence on oil, by replacing it with the tourism sector.
In realizing this, there are several things that Riyadh has changed recently. Starting from bikini-free areas to women who have started removing their abaya clothes.
