The 2023 ASEAN Para Games: Indonesia Becomes Overall Champion

VIVA – The 2023 ASEAN Para Games at Morodok Techo National Stadium, Phnom Penh, was officially completed on Friday. Cambodia handed over the Games relay to Thailand.
Cambodia's Minister of Tourism and NOC President Thong Khon said that the success of the Sea Games and ASEAN Para Games was because of the "can-do spirit".
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen officially closed the 2023 ASEAN Para Games.
Furthermore, Nakhon Ratchasima City, Thailand will host the ASEAN Para Games in 2026.

Then, Indonesia managed to become the overall champion with 159 gold, 148 silver, and 94 bronze.
The gain is better than Thailand which is in the runner-up position with 126 gold, 109 silver, and 92 bronze. Vietnam followed with 66 gold, 58 silver, and 77 bronze.
This victory was achieved dominantly in several sports such as Para Chess (12 gold), Para Judo (11 gold), Para Powerlifting (17 Gold), and Para Table Tennis (31 gold).
