VIVA – MMA Fight Academy is sending two Indonesian fighters to compete in international fights. Both Jon Saragih and Frans Lincol Sormin will appear at Cage Warriors (CW) 155 in San Diego, United States on Friday.
At this match, Jon Saragih will compete with Johnny Gill Jr in the bantam class, while Frans Lincol is challenged by James Settle in the same class.
Since last February, Saragih started his professional MMA career 4 years ago in San Diego, United States. While participating in this program initiated by Cage Warriors and Mola TV, Jon was handled by two coaches, Marc Fiore, and Jack Burakcer.
Saragih previously qualified through an audition held in Bali last year. The same goes for Frans Lincol. The man from Panetonga, Pematang Siantar previously coached at the Bali MMA gym.
Lincol had a professional MMA career since 4 years ago. He is known to be nicknamed 'The Big Baby'. But that character changes drastically during the match. In the octagon, he looks very aggressive.
Both Jon Saragih and Frans Lincol are trying to get their first international contracts. Previously, this opportunity was successfully snatched by Cornellius Aritonang.
Of the last nine Indonesian fighters remaining at MMA Fight Academy, only Cronellius managed to win his international fight.
While the other five suffered defeats at CW 154 and Road to UFC Season 2. One other fighter canceled his appearance at Road to UFC due to being knocked out in a sparring partner session, last April.
