Google Releases New Ringtone for Pixel Phone that Inspired by Kenny G
VIVA – Google has decided to launch a new ringtone for its Pixel phone, and this time is inspired by none other than the legendary saxophonist, Kenny G.Â
The Mountain View-based company has just updated the Sounds app to version 3.1. People who have a pixel phone can update the app in the Play Store. The update will be ready when the Pixel 7a launches, as reported by 9to5Google.Â
This is not unusual as Google usually releases a new set of ringtones every time a new Pixel comes out. However, in the case of the Pixel 7a, Google decided to release only one new ringtone named Kenny Gingtone.
The name of the ringtone is a dead giveaway for what to expect here. When you listen to it, you’ll hear the dulcet tones of a saxophone playing smooth jazz in the vein of the legendary Kenny G. To access the Sounds app, just go to Settings > Sound & vibration > Phone ringtone.Â
From there, you’ll be able to see the ringtone under Pixel Sounds if it has been updated.
Ringtones are not the only new thing to come to the Pixel 7a. Earlier, it was discovered that the Pixel 7a was given a special vibration feature not found on any other Pixel phone.Â
Originally appearing in Android 13 QPR2 Beta 1, the feature is called Adaptive alert vibration and it automatically reduces the vibration intensity of notifications and alarms.Â
At the Google I/O 2023 event, the company unveiled the Pixel 7a with Tensor G2 Chip and Titan M2 Security chip. The phone is available in three color options, Charcoal, Snow, and Sea. This is worth at IDR 7,2 million.Â
