President Jokowi Inspects Reherseal for ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo

VIVA – The Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi)  visited and inspected the rehearsal for the 42nd ASEAN Summit during the second day of the working visits series to Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara, on Monday. 

First, President Widodo is scheduled to review the rehearsal of the arrival of ASEAN leaders in the lobby of the Meruorah Hotel. After that, it will be followed by a photo session rehearsal of each ASEAN leader with President Jokowi until a group photo rehearsal.

Next, the President will head to Komodo Ballroom, Meruorah Convention Center, to review the venue of the 42nd ASEAN Summit. Then, the Head of State will also see the venue for the ASEAN leaders' luncheon.

After that, the second-day agenda will be closed by reviewing the rehearsal of the ASEAN leaders' dinner which will be held at Ayana Komodo Waecicu Beach on Monday. Meanwhile, First Lady Iriana is also scheduled to review the rehearsal of the ASEAN leaders' escort program.

It is known, the ASEAN Summit series is scheduled to take place on May 9-11, 2023, with the main meeting scheduled for May 10-11.
