VIVA – At the Hannover Messe 2023, Indonesia signed 27 cooperation agreements. Some of the cooperation that will be agreed upon is waste-to-energy management to collaboration in the development of the Archipelago's Capital City (IKN Nusantara).

Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said that the Hannover Messe 2023 will have a positive impact on increasing investment in Indonesia. For several agreements will be signed by the government or business people.

"This cooperation agreement is an achievement of one of the goals of Indonesian participation as Partner Country Hannover Messe 2023, namely the realization of industrial cooperation and foreign investment," Minister Kartasasmita explained in a statement on Wednesday.

"As 75 percent of the MoU signing participants came from Hannover Messe 2023 co-exhibitors, and the rest were outside the co-exhibitors. This shows that the enthusiasm of co-exhibitors to cooperate with partners is quite high," he added.

Then, for the scope of cooperation on a G to B basis, including increasing human resources in the development and transformation of industry 4.0, waste-to-energy management, waste management with a circular economy, and cooperation in developing the IKN Nusantara.

In addition, there is also cooperation on waste-to-energy management, the establishment of a chemical and molding factory center, the establishment of a learning center, cooperation on electric vehicle (EV) recharging ecosystems, and industry 4.0 digital information.

Meanwhile, the Head of BPSDMI Masrokhan said that the potential for cooperation that can be achieved at Hannover Messe this time is very large to support the process of technological transformation 4.0, especially priority industries with the presence of the Indonesian Digital Industry Center 4.0 (PIDI 4.0).

Masrokhan added that the cooperation that can be followed up includes: Development of industrial human resources related to Industry 4.0 through the implementation of capacity building programs; Provision of mock-ups / showcases of machine lines and multimedia equipment worth up to € 700,000 to be placed in the exhibition center area at PIDI 4.0 along with technology transfer programs.

Utilization of multimedia machinery and equipment line mock-ups; Development of education curricula, training, and training programs implementation of capacity building programs, including visits and exchanges of subject matter, experts, learning modules, curricula, technology, and technical personnel.
