VIVA English – In order to celebrate the blessed month of Ramadan, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Indonesia (CCEP Indonesia) and PT Fast Food Indonesia (KFC Indonesia) organized a charity event and donation to a community group called "Ramadan Berkah" (Blessed Ramadan).

This activity took place in eight cities across Indonesia, including Jakarta, Bandung, Bekasi, Semarang, Lampung, Pasuruan, Medan, and Bali.

Lucia Karina, Director of Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability of CCEP Indonesia & PNG, stated that this event is a form of social concern, gratitude, and a thank you to the community for their support thus far.

"Ramadan symbolizes compassion, forgiveness, blessing, and sharing, and we believe in the importance of giving back to the community. At CCEP Indonesia, we are committed to making a positive difference, both in the workplace and in the local communities in our business operation areas," said Karina.

Adi Sunandar, Creative and Innovation Manager of KFC Indonesia, also expressed happiness and gratitude for the successful implementation of the Ramadan Berkah activity.

He mentioned that KFC Indonesia is grateful to be involved in this charitable event, and activities like this are a great opportunity for them to interact and show social concern towards the community.

We would like to thank CCEP Indonesia, our working partner, for organizing this event, and appreciate all those who contributed to the realization of this activity. May this activity bring blessings to all of us in the holy month of Ramadan," said Adi.

In this Ramadan Berkah activity, more than 800 packages of groceries and food were distributed to various community groups, such as orphans, street children, disability communities, and environmental activists in eight different locations.

This event was held from April 10-14, 2023, with Jakarta being the first location for the Ramadan Berkah activity series.
