"In addition to introducing the industry, we will certainly also encourage cooperation in order to obtain the latest technology, improve human resources and encourage investment," he said in the FMB9 Dialogue which raised the theme 'Future Industry with Environmental Vision Hannover Messe 2023', on Monday (27/3).

According to Eko, the partner country status at this event also shows Indonesia's 4.0 innovation initiative. To support this, the government has formed a special committee and prepared various aspects, including exhibitor curation, business meetings, conferences, and investment clinic facilities.

Previously, in the current transitional world situation, the government has also done many things to improve the investment climate, including improving regulations and providing tax instruments that are more investor-friendly.

Eko explained that Hannover Messe event is generally held to bring together two large groups, namely those who are able to create industrial technology and those who are users of the products.

However, in this event, Indonesia wants to show its mastery of innovation involving not only the creators and users of industrial technology but also other important parts. Such as the banking sector that can support and be part of the industrial ecosystem.

Previously, in 2021 Indonesia was also selected as a partner country at this event. However, due to the pandemic, all activities were conducted digitally. Nevertheless, Indonesia still managed to demonstrate its superiority in the industrial field and obtain a significant commitment to investment and cooperation.
