Minister Reveals Six Achievements of Domestic Products Purchasing

VIVA – Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan said that the Affirmative Action for Domestic Product Expenditure (PDN) in realizing Proudly Made in Indonesia (BBI) through the government budget has at least six achievements.
"The first achievement is the value of spending realization of ministries/agencies of local governments, and SOEs reaching IDR 762.7 trillion," said Minister Pandjaitan in the Opening of Business Matching of Domestic Products, at Istora Senayan, Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Complex, Jakarta, on Wednesday.
"Bappenas and BPS estimate an economic impact of around one percent which supports the achievement of 2022 economic growth of 5.31 percent," he added.
Second, the number of products in the e-Catalog reached 2.49 million products or exceeded the target of 1 million products. Then, the third is the launch of the Domestic Government Credit Card in August 2022.
Fourth, the integration of data on spending on government goods and services has been completed. Coordinating Minister Maritime Affairs and Investment said that for the first time in history, this integration can be carried out between systems at the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, and the Public Procurement Policy Agency (LKPP).
Fifth, the implementation of umbrella contracts for the procurement of domestic brand laptops has saved IDR1.8 trillion. "This contract creates jobs and also spurs innovation in Indonesia's young generation," said Minister Pandjaitan.
Sixth, the launch of the Proud to Travel in Indonesia program on 13 December 2022 with a target of 1.2-1.4 billion trips in 2023.
"At the direction of the President to invite people to travel in Indonesia, the Proud to Travel in Indonesia program was launched on December 13, 2022, with a target of 1.2-1.4 billion trips in 2023. The direct impact is tourism revenue of around IDR 3,200 trillion," he explained.
Minister Pandjaitan also expressed his appreciation to all parties who have supported the achievement of this Affirmative Action for National Government Expenditure.
"All of these achievements are thanks to the cooperation, detailed work, and smart work of all ministries, institutions, and local governments including SOEs. We will all continue to make various improvements in 2023," he concluded.
