President Jokowi Inspects Some Venues of ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo

VIVA – The Indonesian President, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inspected several venues for the ASEAN Summit that is planned to be held on May 9-11, 2023.
"We want to ensure preparations for the ASEAN Summit in May. I see that several venues are all ready, and only a few touches are left," President Jokowi said in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Tuesday.
The President added several places that will be used in Labuan Bajo looks beautiful and wonderful.
Therefore, the President encouraged the ASEAN Summit to be utilized as a promotional event for Labuan Bajo as one of Indonesia's super priority tourism destinations.
The most important thing is that later we also want to promote Labuan Bajo as a super-priority destination in Golo Mori. The view in Labuan Bajo is also good. Everything is good and beautiful," the president remarked.
The president also noted that 10 ASEAN countries will attend the summit, "Yes, all ASEAN members are present."
Also accompanying the President during the inspection were Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, and Governor of NTT Viktor Laiskodat.
