VIVA – A solar eclipse is an event where the Sun's light is blocked by the Moon so that not all of it reaches the Earth. This event, which is one of the results of the dynamic movement of the position of the Sun, Earth, and Moon, only occurs during the new moon phase and can be predicted in advance.

While the Lunar Eclipse is a phenomenon when the Sun's light is blocked by the Earth so that not all of it reaches the Moon and always occurs during the full phase. In 2023, it is predicted that there will be four eclipses.

A hybrid solar eclipse will happen in April also known as an annular-total eclipse, is a rare type of solar eclipse that occurs when the Moon's shadow crosses the Earth's surface and the apparent size of the Moon is not large enough to completely cover the Sun.

During a hybrid solar eclipse, the eclipse begins as an annular eclipse, where the Moon appears smaller than the Sun and creates a "ring of fire" effect around the edge of the Sun. As the Moon continues to move across the Sun, it eventually reaches a point where it completely covers the Sun, creating a total eclipse. The total eclipse phase is usually very brief, lasting only a few seconds to a few minutes, before the Moon continues on its path and the eclipse reverts back to an annular eclipse.

Hybrid solar eclipses are relatively rare, occurring only about once every 18 years. The path of the eclipse can also be quite narrow, with the total eclipse phase visible only from a specific region on the Earth's surface.
