Indonesia Shows Readiness to Host World Racing Championship

Next, the 2023 Asia Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) at Lake Toba is scheduled to be held in two rounds. The first race is the seventh round on September 22 to 23 and the second race is the ninth round on November 24 to 26.
"We have a strong desire that this year's APRC in Medan will be a success and encourage the World Rally Championship to be held in Indonesia. It has been finalized," said Soesatryo.
"In addition, the president also encouraged us to hold F1 in Indonesia. Initial talks are still tough, it is still possible for 2025, but we are still lobbying and negotiating so that it can (be carried out) in 2024," he added.
