IIMS 2023 Exhibition Presents Local and Overseas Automotive Products

VIVA – The 2023 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) will open from tomorrow until February 26 at JIEXpo Kemayoran. The exhibition is planned to be opened directly by the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo.
IIMS 2023 will present various products from local and overseas automotive brands. Starting from the launch of new cars and motorcycles to the introduction of advanced technology offered by many exhibitors.
The exhibition is targeted to attract 400 thousand of visitors with transactions amounting to IDR 3.8 trillion. This was conveyed by the President Director of Dyandra Promosindo, Daswar Marpaung in the opening ceremony of IIMS 2023 at the Ballroom, JIEXpo Convention Center and Theater, JIEXpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.
"Last year's IIMS total visitors were around 300 thousand, for this year we are targeting 400 thousand visitors during the 11 days of the exhibition and transactions amounting to IDR 3.8 trillion," Daswar Marpaung stated on Wednesday.
IIMS for this year presents the highest number of participants or brands present compared to previous years. This is due to many newcomer brands in Indonesia.
For four-wheeled vehicle brands, the Brand Holder Agents (APMs) that will launch their products at IIMS 2023 are Suzuki, Mitsubishi, MG, Hyundai, and Toyota. For two-wheelers, there are Smartby, Gelis, Selis, Namota, Royal Alloy, Benelli, Alva, United Motor, Rakata, KTM, and Husqvarna.
On the same occasion, Project Manager IIMS 2023, Rudi MF said Esemka car will be present at the exhibition this time. The Indonesian brand, which was once promoted by President Joko Widodo, reappeared after rarely being heard from since 2021.
"Esemka's participation is a representative of Indonesian automotive industry players who are ready to show their existence and compete with world-renowned automotive brands," said Rudi MF.
Furthermore, four-wheeled vehicles that will enliven IIMS 2023, including Daihatsu, BMW, Chery, DFSK, Esemka, Honda, Hyundai, Jeep, Mitsubishi, MG, Prestige, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, and Wuling. There is also Indomobil Group which presents five brands, namely Audi, Citroen, KIA, Nissan, and Volkswagen (VW).
Then the two-wheeled vehicle brands are Astra Honda Motor, Benelli-Keeway, Energica, Husqvarna, Italjet, Kawasaki, KTM, Moto Bologna Passione (MBP), Niu, Royal Alloy, Royal Enfield, and Yamaha.
Meanwhile, electric motorcycle brands were followed by Alva, Gelis, Gesits, Ion Mobility, Ofero, Polytron, Rakata, Selis, Smartby, and United. As one of the highlights, the new electric motorcycle Yadea will for the first time showcase its products at IIMS 2023.
