Expedition Company Builds Houses for Cianjur Earthquake Victims

VIVA – The Indonesian expedition company SiCepat Ekspres through the SiCepat Peduli Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program distributed assistance in the form of Residential House (Rumah Hunian) program for Cianjur Earthquake victims in Cugenang and Sukaresmi Districts, Cianjur Regency, West Java, on Monday.
Rumah Hunian program is a collaboration between SiCepat Ekspres and the West Java Provincial Government's humanitarian complaint channel (West Java Quick Response) through the Jabat Tangan (Jabar Bantu Tangani Kebencanaan) program.
Through this collaboration program, SiCepat Ekspres donated IDR 50 million to build five units of semi-permanent residential houses for refugees in Cugenang and Sukaresmi Districts, Cianjur Regency, West Java. The construction process has been carried out from January to February 2023.
Meanwhile, Chief Executive Officer SiCepat Ekspres, The Kim Hai conveyed that the residential house program assistance is a form of SiCepat Ekspres' concern for refugees in dealing with the problem of temporary housing availability, as quoted from a Press release on Monday, February 6, 2023.
"Through the assistance of this residential house program, we hope to help ease the burden on refugees affected by the earthquake disaster in Cianjur, West Java. Through this shelter, we hope that the affected victims can live more comfortably and safely," explained The Kim Hai.

Meanwhile, the Partnership Manager of Jabar Quick Response, Dito Budiman, representing the local community, expressed his appreciation to SiCepat Ekspres for collaborating to help victims of the Cianjur disaster, West Java.
"Thank you to SiCepat Ekspres for collaborating together in building shelters for Cianjur earthquake victims. The five units of residential houses donated by SiCepat Ekspres that have been built since the January period have now been completed and can be immediately occupied by the affected victims. Hopefully, in the future, this collaboration can also be realized not only in the Cianjur area but in other areas that are also in need," Dito Budiman explained.
