Indonesia Has Potential Add Medal in ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol 2023

VIVA – Indonesia has potential to add medals after the representative in the Women's 25m Pistol Team managed to advance to the bronze medal final round of the ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol 2023. The match will be held at the Lapangan Tembak Senayan, Jakarta, on Saturday, February 4, 2023.
Talitha Judith Almira/Karva Aisyah Febina/Dwi Yulia Purnamawati become the Indonesian representatives to fight in the qualifying round and was able to come in third place with a total of 848 points.
These results made the Indonesian team qualify for the finals to compete for bronze against Kazakhstan (Saule Alimbek/Olga Axenova/Irina Yunusmetova) who in the qualifying round finished fourth with 841.
Meanwhile, the gold medal will be contested by Singapore (Hiu Hong Teh/Xie Shun Teo/Xiu Yi Teh) who in the qualifying round came first with 877 against South Korea (Junghye Kwak/Min Kyung Oh/Seongeun Hwang) in the second position of the qualifying round by collecting 849.
Meanwhile, three Indonesian representatives also dropped in the Women's 25m Pistol number (individual). Unfortunately, their steps stopped in the qualifying round. Talitha Judith Almira placed 10th with a total of 575 (precision with 292 and rapid 283).
Another Indonesian representative Eva Yulianti Pratiwi was 20th with 566. Then, Karva Aisyah Febina was in 24th place with 562, and Dwi Yulia Purnamawati was in 26th place with 558. Then Carlesis Manusama was in 28th place with 542.
In the Women's 25m Pistol, the winner was Austrian shooter Sylvia Steiner who scored 23 points in the final. Representative from Singapore,  Xiu Ho Teh got the silver medal after losing one point to the winner. Then, the bronze went to Junghye Kwak of South Korea who scored 16 points in the final.
Despite did not qualify in individual numbers, now, Talitha Judith Almira / Karva Aisyah Febina / Dwi Yulia Purnamawati has the opportunity to be able to contribute a bronze medal in the Women's 25m Pistol Team number.
So far, Indonesia is still in eighth place in the medal standings by collecting one gold and three bronze. Gold was won by Arista Perdana Putri Darmoyo / Muhammad Iqbal Raia Prabowo at 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team.
Then, the bronze medal from Iqbal Raya in the Men's 10m Air Pistol number, Audrey Zahra Dhiyaanisa / Khairunnisa Salsabela / Masayyu Putri in the Women's Team Air Rifle number, and Lily Sulistyadewi Tirthajaya / Rihadatul Asyifa /Arista Perdana Putri Darmono who dropped in the Women's Team Air Pistol number.
