How Expedition Company Supports Government and Society

VIVA – The Indonesian Expedition Company, SiCepat Ekspres supports the government and society in passing through the crisis period after COVID-19 Pandemic. The support consistency is realized by 132 activity agendas of SiCepat Peduli corporate social responsibility (CSR).
The assistance provided included 3,000 food packages, 74,000 food boxes, 12 disaster response assistance programs, free delivery service support in 17 cities, and planting 26,700 tree seedlings to reforest 28 hectares of land.
Chief Marketing and Corporate Communication Officer of SiCepat Ekspres, Wiwin Dewi Herawati, said that this company has consistently provided support for the government through the Ministry of Health with the free telemedicine delivery program from 2020 until today.
"A total of more than 250,000 telemedicine packages have been distributed to various parts of Indonesia, including Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, West Java, Central Java, Jogjakarta, East Java, Lampung, Palembang, Medan, Denpasar, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, Makassar, to Manado," Wiwin Dewi stated.
In addition, SiCepat Ekspres also collaborates with the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) in helping community groups in need through various programs throughout 2022.
Some of SiCepat's collaborative programs with BAZNAS include the Cemerlang Mosque program in Ramadan, the Online Qurban program, the Banten and Cianjur Disaster Care program, and free shipping support.
Not only that but SiCepat Ekspres' consistency in supporting government programs related to the digitization of MSMEs is also manifested through the Sanubari MSME program (Siap Bangkit Untuk Negeri) from period July to November 2022.
This expedition company has successfully invited the collaboration of more than 3,000 MSME players through the Sanubari program, SiCepat Ekspres helps improve MSME competencies through webinars and stimulates MSME creativity through business idea competitions.
From the aspect of sustainability, SiCepat Ekspress also supports government programs in the creation of a green ecosystem through a green corporate commitment that was signed jointly by the board of directors and employees last November.
Through this commitment, SiCepat established itself as the first logistics company to apply green corporate principles from upstream to downstream business processes.
