Support Industry Players, Ministry of Industry Gives RINTEK Award

VIVA – The Ministry of Industry gives the Rintisan Teknologi Industri or RINTEK Award to 11 companies as a form of support to industry players. So, they can improve technology to reduce dependence on imports of capital goods and downstream products.
“This awarding of the Rintisan Teknologi Industri is a form of government appreciation to national industry players who have been consistent in improving national industrial technology to increase the productivity and independence of domestic industries,” Minister of Industry, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita stated in an official statement, quoted on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.
The Ministry of Industry hopes the RINTEK could be a motivation for national industry players to consistently develop competitiveness through the creation of High-value industrial technology. Therefore, with the improvement of industrial technology, it is hoped that the national industry can compete in domestic and international markets.

The RINTEK 2022 award is an annual routine agenda that has been carried out by the Ministry of Industry since 2006 and has been given to 64 industrial companies for 89 technological innovations produced.
"The RINTEK award is expected to be a motivation for national industry players to consistently develop competitiveness through the creation of high-value industrial technology," Minister Agus remarked.
In the Awarding Ceremony, the Ministry of Industry gave RINTEK 2022 awards to 11 industrial companies for 12 technological innovations produced.
The awardees are companies that have proven to utilize the results of their innovation and creativity in increasing productivity and efficiency in developing competitiveness through research, development, and engineering of industrial technology in Indonesia.
Head of the Industrial Services Standardization and Policy Agency (BSKJI), Doddy Rahadi explained that the 2022 Industrial Technology Pioneer Award selection program was attended by 29 industrial companies for 43 technological innovations produced.
The RINTEK Award process is carried out by involving competent judges in the field of industrial technology and is carried out through a rigorous process.
The industrial companies awarded the 2022 RINTEK Award have fulfilled all the requirements set, namely, the company is a manufacturing or industrial services company, domiciled and incorporated in Indonesia.
Furthermore, the proposed technology is the result of research by participating companies in the form of prototypes or those have been successfully implemented, and the proposed technology has never received a similar award in the previous period.
