Apriyani/Fadia Officially Qualify for BWF World Tour Finals 2022

VIVA – In the 2022 BWF World Tour Finals, Indonesia added more representatives to compete. The latest is from the women's doubles sector, Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti. They are confirmed to qualify for the year-end match, December 7 to 11, 2022 in Bangkok, Thailand.Â
The pair ranked 15th in the world, received an invitation from BWF, and this certainty was announced directly by the official PP PBSI social media account, Monday night, November 28, 2022. The announcement stated that Apri / Fadia received an invitation to participate in the 2022 BWF World Tour Finals.
"It's official! Apri/Fadia has been invited to the 2022 BWF World Tour Finals. So, seven Indonesian representatives will compete in the 2022 BWF World Tour Finals held on December 7-11 at Nimibutr Arena, Bangkok, Thailand. Good luck for all!" According to information from PBSI on the official Twitter account.Â
Apriyani / Fadia completes the composition of Indonesia's representatives at the BWF World Tour Finals 2022. They are the only Indonesian women's doubles who have the right to appear in the tournament, despite through the invitation.Â
They became the second Indonesian representatives to receive an invitation from BWF to appear at the 2022 BWF World Tour Finals. Previously, there was Gregoria Mariska Tunjung who also entered by invitation to replace one of the eight participants in the women's singles.
Apriyani/Fadia's entry into the 2022 BWF World Tour Finals also completes Indonesia's representation in all sectors. This is the first time Indonesia has representatives in all sectors at the BWF World Tour Finals.
