VIVA – As one of the world's leading consumer goods companies, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Indonesia (CCEP Indonesia) established the Support My Cause program and donated funds that will be used to expand the scope of the initiative.
This program is an extension of CCEP's Group-wide initiative, Support My Cause, which has supported 44 local foundations across Europe with an investment of more than EUR 200,000. This year, the Support My Cause program was extended to all CCEP operational areas, including Indonesia.
Nurani Dunia Foundation is one of the foundations nominated and received the most votes for the Support My Vote Action 2022 program by Denny Wahyudi, as Corporate Affairs Manager of CCEP Indonesia for the West Java region.
The foundation, created by Dr. Imam B Prasodjo, a sociologist at the University of Indonesia, was nominated because it has a vision that is in line with the company's commitment to building community capabilities and improving the circular economy in Indonesia.
"As a person who nominated Nurani Dunia Foundation with social activities in Purwakarta Regency through its Kampung Ilmu, we are certainly more excited and grateful for the highest vote in the internal agenda of CCEP Indonesia's Support My Vote Action. Hopefully, the Nurani Dunia Foundation will be of higher quality and continue to spread positive benefits to the people of Indonesia in educating the nation's life," Denny Wahyudi remarked.
On November 25, 2022, CCEP Indonesia handed over a donation of EUR 12,500 or around IDR 186,250,000 represented by Lucia Karina, as VP of Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability CCEP Indonesia and Papua New Guinea to Dr. Imam B Prasodjo as the founder of Nurani Dunia Foundation.
"Through the Support My Vote Action program, we focus on two things at once; building employee awareness of social and environmental issues by involving them directly, and encouraging changes in the behavior and quality of society by supporting the activities of credible foundations," Lucia Karina said.
