VIVA – Bandung is one of the cities in Indonesia that is interesting to visit for various reasons, such as tourism and culinary. It turns out that Bandung has charm for tourists. Bandung has many mystical things that make many people curious to come to this city.
Several phenomenal places are creepy in Bandung, one is Emen Incline or local people known as Tanjakan Emen. This incline is located on the border of Subang, West Java, and Lembang Bandung. It is said to be phenomenal because the name of Tanjakan Emen comes from a story of someone who died on the incline because he was hit by a truck and rumored to be wandering.
Even when passing through the Mount Tangkuban Perahu tourist area, this Emen incline needs to be watched out for, and drivers, it is expected to be careful. Well, here are others the creepiest phenomenal places in Bandung that people need to know.
1. Potato House
Potato House may be familiar to the Indonesian people. This house is known to be very haunted because it started with a mother who was boiling potatoes at night and the child accidentally got into the pot of potato stew and died instantly.
Its location on Aceh Street in Bandung, West Java, makes this haunted house still frequented by some tourists to take photos even though only from outside the fence.
2. Villa Isola UPI
University of Education Indonesia, Bandung, West Java, turns out to have a creepy place. The villa, which was built in 1932, apparently had a mystery horror story after the owner had a plane crash.
Many local people often feel disturbed because they often see the appearance of a group of strangers who are partying and dancing, and look very horror if they approach the place.
3. Siliwangi Street
Babakan Siliwangi Street in Bandung is familiar to local people because it holds many creepy mystical stories.
The myth is that on Siliwangi Street, there is a ghost of a small child symbolized by dolls hanging from trees along the road. According to Risa Saraswati's true story written in her book, she once saw a small child in a negligee at night when she was driving her car.
4. House of Satan’s Slaves
Still in Bandung, West Java, in Pangalengan, this place was used as a filming location and is in the middle of a tea plantation owned by PTPN. This house is famous for the making of the movie Satan’s Slave directed by Joko Anwar.
Although it has a creepy nuance, Pengabdi Setan House is visited by many tourists. Because it was uninhabited for a long time, the house is an old villa owned by the original Dutch people now. The surrounding local people often see the appearance of the Dutch lady at night and the many supernatural creatures that often disturb the local people.
