Living First – CreArt 2022 Presents Artwork to Beautify House

VIVA – Astra Property celebrated its 6th anniversary by holding the opening ceremony of the Living First - CreArt 2022 event series. This event is an exhibition with the theme "Power of Home, Power of You" that was held at Catur Dharma Hall, Menara Astra building on November 24, 2022.
Through this theme, Astra Property wants to remind us of the importance of function and meaning for house for its residents. In this event, Astra Property collaborated with AlaCasa in creating an exhibition of contemporary, classic modern, pop art, and others.
Head of the Corporate Communications Division of Astra Property, Demmy Indranugroho, expressed his interest in collaborating with AlaCasa. He said that AlaCasa is an interesting architect and interior platform.
"We actually met in 2019. Then, this is our second collaboration with a different concept. AlaCasa is an interesting social media platform for architects and interiors," Demmy Indranugroho said in Press Conference event at Catur Dharma Hall, on November 24, 2022.
According to Demmy, the Living First-CreArt 2022 exhibition, Astra Property wants to encourage optimism and enthusiasm in presenting a comfortable residence, as well as beautifying the house through the works of art displayed.
"Home as a place to live has an important role for us as a place to recharge the spirit and energy to continue to fight to face challenges. For this reason, we need to provide maximum comfort at home. Through the Living First - CreArt 2022 exhibition Astra Property wants to encourage optimism and enthusiasm and present a comfortable residence, and beautify it through works of art," Demmy Nugroho explained.
Meanwhile, the Head of Content, Putra Tjokro, said that this exhibition uses designs that are currently trending, namely aesthetics.
"From now until next year, I see that gen Z or millennials are starting to like artsy or aesthetic things. The influence of social media is very pronounced. We see that the market now is art exhibitions, many people like contemporary art style exhibitions, pop art, and more aimed at art buyers because they like aesthetics," Putra Tjokro explained.
The Living First - CreArt 2022 event presents a collection of works from 10 renowned Indonesian art galleries, including Andi's Gallery, Art Agenda, ISA Art Gallery, Museum of Toys, CGartspace, D Gallerie, Art:1, Rachel Gallery, and Gudang Gambar. The exhibition featured approximately 90 artworks, including works by Tutugraff, Soni Irawan, Mahendra Pampam, Agung Fitriana, Rato Ranggela, AA Gede Putrayasa, Yoyok, Desy Febrianti, Micah Crandall and works by maestro Affandi & Srihadi Soedarsono.
One of the painters who attended the exhibition, Rato Tanggela, revealed that his paintings were inspired by life's problems. The character of his painting is named Toto. Toto depicts the spirit of someone who tries to always be positive in life.
According to Rato Tanggela, the paintings are not only on display but also for sale to interested people.
"The collaboration with Astra in this exhibition is the first time, and these paintings or artworks are not only exhibited but also traded for anyone who is interested," Rato Tanggela said when interviewed by Viva, on November 24, 2022.
Not only exhibiting artworks, for those who love trinkets to decorate their homes, Living First - CreArt 2022 also presents a home & living market that will feature various products from 18 Home & Living Market outlets; such as Kin Soap, Ecletic, Silkwillow, Good Get Home, Silkwillow and others.
As information, through the Living First - CreArt 2022 event on November, 25 to 27 2022, Astra Property wants to share happiness with all stakeholders and together enjoy the beauty of art at the Catur Dharma Hall location which is also part of the ASTRA Gallery that features several works by Indonesian artists including Heri Dono and Dolorosa Sinaga.
