Bakrie Amanah Provides Assistance for Cianjur Earthquake Victims

VIVA – The earthquake in Cianjur on November 21, 2022, resulted in many casualties and severe damage that made the houses of local people uninhabitable. Therefore, Bakrie Tanggap through Bakrie Amanah helps the victims by coming directly to the location of the earthquake victims to distribute assistance.

Person in Change (PIC) of Bakrie Amanah, Asep Rosidin said the 5.6 magnitude earthquake caused many victims from minor injuries to death. The impact of this earthquake disaster also caused severe damage to houses.

"For this reason, Bakrie Tanggap through Bakrie Amanah wants to relieve the burden on earthquake victims by assisting in the form of necessities, food, equipment, medicines to the trauma healing team," Asep Rosidin said in his statement on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.

Asep Rosidin explained that the types of physical assistance provided were medicines and medical devices of 15 types, tarpaulins (as sleeping mats and tents) of as many as 20 pcs, 160 pcs of blankets, 240 packages of children's food, 372 cans of Qurban, 200 boxes of fast food, and 100 food packages or necessities.

The distribution of assistance is given to three places. First to Salakawung Village, Sarampad Village, Cugenang District. Second for Bayubud Village, Rancagoong Village, Cilaku District, and Third for Cibeureu Village, Benjot Village, Cugenang District.

"For the next activity, we will hold psychosocial activities for children and food distribution," Asep Rosidin remarked.

Moreover, the Chairman of RW Salakawung expressed his gratitude to Bakrie Tanggap through Bakrie Amanah for helping the survivors by providing food, tarpaulins for tents, and blankets for the elderly and children under five.
