Bhutan has one of the strangest traditions, called Night Hunting. This activity is identical to single men who will look for a soulmate. At night, the men in Bhutan will enter the room their girl dreams of.

If the act is known by her parents, then the girl will be married off. The man is happy to marry the girl that he entered the room, even though, he should help work on the girl’s farm. 

2. Drinking Sperm (Papua New Guinea)

Other werid ritual comes from Papua New Guinea. In the territory of this country, there is a group called the Etoro Tribe. They have a habit of drinking sperm. The tribe believes that young men should swallow the sperm of their elders every day. 

This tradition is started by adolescents aged 12-17 years to achieve adult status. In addition, the Etoro believe that everyone has a life force and the greatest concentration of life force is in the sperm of elders. 



Vanuatu's male coming-of-age ritual is notoriously extreme and risks the loss of life. A strange tradition called nagol is very popular in the Pentecost region, one of the islands in the Republic of Vanuatu. 

This is done by jumping from a tower and having legs tied to a rope. This tradition is followed by adult men. They climb a wooden tower as high as 100 feet or about 30 meters, then remember their ankles with a rope from the vines. 



In Ethiopia, men have to fatten up because men with more weight are more attractive and charismatic. This tradition has been around for a long time and takes a lot of effort. Usually, people who want to fatten up eat as much food as possible. As for the men there, they eat a mixture of cow's blood and milk, so they get fatter quickly. 



There is also a tradition called the Gerewol Festival. This festival also known as wife stealing is carried out by the Wodaabe Fula tribe in Nigeria. The festival is a colorful cultural amazing that few Westerners have the privilege of seeing. 

The Wodaabe are referred to as a semi-nomadic tribe, with other names Mbororo and Bororo. The tribe, which straddles countries such as Cameroon, Nigeria, and Chad, has its way of showing off the charms of men.
