VIVA – The new boss of Twitter, Elon Musk, gives solutions to handle congestion and electric vehicles used in developing countries, to developed countries. It was conveyed in an interview session with the President Director of Bakrie & Brothers, Anindya Novyan Bakrie at the B20 Summit.
In an interview held on Monday, November 14, 2022, Elon Musk provided solutions for handling congested roads and using electric buses.
"We had the opportunity to go to your facility in Las Vegas. Now, Indonesia and many developing and even developed countries have a lot of traffic and are starting to think about using electric vehicles. Do you have any thoughts on traffic and CO2?" Anindya Bakrie asked Elon Musk who was present virtually.
Then, Elon Musk answered the question, and he said that tunnel is the solution.
"I think my joke about the tunnel was underappreciated. It wasn't the best joke actually. But I mean, the only answer I can see to city congestion is a tunnel," Elon Musk remarked.
For vehicle problems, Elon Musk recommends using flying cars. However, this is not necessarily appropriate because the risks generated by flying cars are much higher.
"I think it is a flying car, but there is a risk of noise, a lot of wind, and the possibility (the car) will fall on your head," Elon Musk explained.
The Tesla and SpaceX owner also revealed that it's all 3D-based, above-ground tunnels, underground tunnels, and flying cars.
Meanwhile, he also invites anyone to visit his facility in Las Vegas to try the tunnel used for electric vehicles.
"I encourage anyone visiting Las Vegas to give it a try. It sounds so simple, but electric vehicles running in tunnels are really the answer to the worst congestion in any city," Elon Musk remarked.
