Bakrie and Envision Collaborate to Build Net Zero Industrial

VIVA – PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) and Envision Group (Envision) collaborate to build an Industrial Park with an environmentally friendly theme. They signed a Head of Agreement (HoA), on Monday, November 14, 2022.
The signing was carried out by BNBR President Director & CEO, Anindya Novyan Bakrie and Envision Founder & CEO, Lei Zhang. Bakrie and Envision aim to create prospects for the development of Net Zero industrial technology. They will build the first Net Zero Industrial Park in Indonesia and will be located in the Central Sulawesi region.
According to Anindya Bakrie as BNBR President Director & CEO, this agreement allows the two companies to jointly explore the development of renewable energy projects, including those utilizing wind, solar, green ammonia, and green hydrogen power.
As well as a range of downstream uses and energy storage system development.Â
"We see the possibility of developing Net Zero digital solutions in Indonesia, utilizing the system that Envision Digital has created comprehensively," Anindya Bakrie remarked on November 13, 2022.
PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) is looking to build an integrated transportation electrification, as well as an EV battery ecosystem in Indonesia. The network will consist of batteries for EVs, EV-Bus, EV-Car, EV-Motorcycle, EV-Infrastructure, and battery recycling.
Not only that, but BNBR also plans to build a complete battery supply chain capacity from upstream to downstream, which will be carried out while still implementing strict ESG protocols.
Envision Group is known in the industry as the world's leading green technology company and Net Zero technology provider.
The company, which has offices in North America, Europe, and Asia, consistently promotes wind and solar as the 'new coal', batteries and hydrogen fuel as the 'new petroleum', and AIoT as the 'new network'.
Envision also refers to the Net Zero Industrial Park as the 'new infrastructure' and the Net Zero technology ecosystem as the 'new industry', which will ultimately help create a 'net zero world'.
"Together with Envision and other partners in the future, we hope to improve the security of supply of nickel units and other raw materials, continue to expand nickel sulfate conversion capacity, produce batteries independently, and eventually also produce pCAM and CAM independently in Indonesia," Anindya Bakrie explained.
