VIVA – The coach of Brazil's national team, Tite, has selected 26 players to play in the World Cup in Qatar which will take place soon. However, the five-time World Cup champions did not include Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino.
Aston Villa attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho is also one of the players left out of the squad after getting an injury in training last weekend that will sideline him for several weeks.
Tite also only brought four center-backs, namely Bremer (Juventus), Marquinhos (Paris Saint-Germain), Thiago Silva (Chelsea), and Eder Militao (Real Madrid), leaving out names like Roger Ibanez (AS Roma) and Gabriel Magalhaes (Arsenal). Arsenal striker, Gabriel Martinelli also joined to play in the World Cup.
In addition, as quoted from the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) announced that former PSG manager Ricardo Gomes will join Tite's coaching staff as an assistant.
