The Late Queen Elizabeth and Tom Cruise Have a Good Friendship
VIVA – Before her death, Queen Elizabeth II turned out to has a good friend from the world of Hollywood, namely the actor who played "Top Gun" and “Mission Impossible”, Tom Cruise.
As launched from Page Six, Queen Elizabeth and Tom Cruise felt they "really hit it off” over the summer, a source told the Sunday Times of London, on Monday, November 7, 2022.
Tom Cruise, appearing as part of the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations, marked his 70th birthday on the throne, but the ailing Queen Elizabeth was plagued by mobility issues and was unable to meet him.
“The Queen let it be known that she was disappointed not to have met Tom at the pageant. So, he was invited to have a special tour of Windsor castle with everything laid on for him. Afterward, just the two of them had tea together,” according to the source said.

The visit was successful with Tom Cruise given a chance to shoot the weapon ceremony.
“She loved seeing him and they really hit it off, so much so that she invited him back for lunch. He was even allowed to fly in by Helicopter,” the source added.
Their friendship was to continue with a lunch date, but that didn't happen: Elizabeth died on September 8 at the age of 96, before they could meet again.
Before performing as part of the Gallop Through History Platinum Jubilee horse contest in May, Tom Cruise spoke during a television interview about his admiration for the Queen.
