Turkey's Ministry of National Defense said National Defense Minister, Hulusi Akar was continuing to negotiate and coordinate with his partners for the continuation of grain exports in the Black Sea.

On Saturday, October 29, Russia announced the suspension of its participation in the Ukrainian grain export deal, following the attack on the Black Sea Fleet.

The agreement was signed by Russia, Ukraine, the United Nations and Turkey in Istanbul on 22 July 2022 to resume grain exports from Ukraine's three main Black Sea ports.

As information, exports from these ports were temporarily halted due to the Russo-Ukrainian war that had been going on since last February.
